Epox - nowa płyta główna.
Firma Epox zapowiedziała, że już wkrótce w jej ofercie pojawi się nowa płyta główna EP-9U1697 oparta o chipset ULI M1697. Platforma przeznaczona jest dla procesorów AMD Sempron/Athlon-64/ Athlon-64 FX/ Athlon X2, posiada cztery sloty pamięci DDR (2.5v DDR-333/400/500), dwa porty IDE, cztery SATAII, osiem USB 2.0 oraz dwa sloty PCI Express (x16). Ponadto urządzenie zawiera zintegrowany LAN oraz kartę muzyczną (ALC850). Producent nie zapomniał także o overclockerach, wprowadzając możliwość zmiany napięcia między innymi dla CPU, chipsetu, czy pamięci. Jak dotąd nie wiadomo, kiedy nowy EPOX pojawi się w sprzedaży.
