Jako, że pierwszy raz będę wysyłał dysk na gwarancję proszę o pomoc. Wygenerowałem już wszystkie dane i numer zgłoszeniowy RMA, ale ... No właśnie. Dostałem emaila co i jak, ale proszę o pomoc - na chłopski rozum. Email przyszedł po "angielskiemu" i nie jestem pewein co i jak. Zacytuję :

Product Inspection Checklist
Inspect your product thoroughly as all warranty claims will be voided if product is received with the following:
• Foreign material on the product (e.g., adhesive, oil, dirt, gum).
• Damaged, modified, opened or dented product.
• Damaged during transport as a result of improper packaging.
• Missing parts (e.g., screws, interface cards, etc.).
• Evidence of tampering (e.g. broken seals, labels removed or torn), except
work performed by data recovery service (http://www.hgst.com/warranty/jsp/arma24h.jsp).
• Covered breather holes.
• Product shipped without proper ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection
(Internal hard disk drives only).

• Replacement will be for identified defective part only.
G-Technology Products

For HGST Internal Hard Disk Drives
Mobile, Desktop and Enterprise Internal Hard Disk Drives
• DO send the bare drive only.
• DO NOT send adapters, controller cards, literature, mounting brackets, slide rails or software. HGST is not responsible for these accessories, and they will not be returned.
Packaging
Please use the original packaging when possible in returning your product. Use the following approved packaging (http://www.hgst.com/hdd/support/packaging2.htm) guidelines as applicable:
• Enclose each Hard Disk Drive in an anti-static electrostatic discharge (ESD) bag. (Excludes External Hard Disk Drives).
• Use 2 inch thick foam cushioning to secure the product on all sides during the shipment. When shipping more than one product, ensure that the products do not touch and are cushioned individually.
• DO NOT use foam peanuts, cloth, paper, newspaper or padded envelopes (ONLY defective Life Studio spare parts, key, power adapter or dock may be shipped in padded envelope).
• Use a corrugated cardboard box for the exterior packaging.
• Use of a traceable carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS) that can provide proof of delivery is strongly recommended. HGST will not be responsible for shipments for which the carrier cannot provide proof of delivery.
• The use of non-approved packaging (http://www.hgst.com/hdd/support/packaging3.htm) may void your warranty.
• You must pay the shipping charges when sending to HGST. HGST will pay for shipping of replacement product.
• Collect shipments will NOT be accepted.
• Shipments arriving at HGST with charges due are subject to being returned unrepaired with all charges, including return expenses, due and payable by the originator.
• HGST is not responsible for loss or damage during shipment of your defective return product. We suggest that you purchase freight insurance for your shipments.
HGST Return Policy
HGST will replace the drive with a functionally equivalent replacement product, transportation prepaid. HGST may replace your product with a product that was previously used, repaired and tested to meet HGST specifications. You receive title to the replaced product at delivery to carrier at HGST shipping point. You are responsible for importation of the replaced product, if applicable. HGST will not return the original drive to consumers; therefore, the consumer is responsible for moving data to another media before returning. Data Recovery is not covered under this warranty and is not part of the warranty returns process. HGST warrants that the replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original product warranty or 90 days, whichever is greater.

Więc mam kilka pytań : czym mam to wysłać? Kurierem? Jeżeli tak to jakim i kto ma zapłacić za nadanie? Co ma być w paczce? Pudełko i dysk - a czy dokument zakupu też? Gdzie mam 3 razy umieścić numer RMA - gdzie popadnie, czy w specjalnych miejscach. Najlepiej jakby mi ktoś krok po kroku wytłumaczył co i jak - bardzo proszę.
