Wczoraj AMD udostępniło oficjalną wersję nowego sterownika Catalyst 11.3 (LINK), ale większe zainteresowanie wzbudziło drugie wydanie Bety obrosłych już niemal legendą driverów Catalyst 11.4. Według AMD nowe sterowniki przyniosą nam niezłego "kopa" w grach (mierzone względem Catalyst 10.9) i wesprą nową kartę Radeon HD 6790:

But owners of the AMD Radeon HD 6870 aren’t the only ones who will see performance improvements. The entire AMD Radeon HD 6800 and HD 6900 Series should similarly benefit from the work we have put into their drivers since launch.

We raised our baseline image quality in 11.2, so the performance improvements going to the 11.4 Preview should be pretty small, right? Wrong.
