Mini komputer AMD

AMD zaprezentowało platformę Single Board Computer (SBC), czyli wszystko w jednym. Geode LX EPIC to cały komputer na jednej płytce PCB o wymiarach 165 x 115mm. Sercem tego komputera jest procesor AMD Geode LX 800 / 0.9W z odpowiednikiem mostka południowego w postaci układu Geode CS5536. Na tej małej powierzchni upchnięto również : 64 MB pamięci, 8 MB memory flash, układ audio, 2 x karty sieciowe FastEthernet, 4 x USB 2.0. Nie zapomniano o standardowym łączu dla klawiatury i myszy. Komputer może być wykorzystywany w zaawansowanych systemach GPS, interaktywnych punktach usługowych czy też w przenośnych bazach danych.
